Port Blair, Oct. 17: The written examination for recruitment to the post of Lower Grade Clerk under the A&N Administration will be held on Nov. 9, 2014 (Sunday) in two shifts of morning and evening from 1000 hrs to 1200 hrs and from 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs respectively.
The list of eligible candidates has been uploaded with the Administration’s website www.and.nic.in for information of all concerned. Also sample OMR Sheets and Instructions to the candidates have been made available in the recruitment portal http://ls.and.nic.in/rec, a press release from the Secretary (Pers) said.
The release further said that the admission certificate/admit card indicating Roll No, ticket no. including venue/centre of the examination, will be made available to the candidates w.e.f Oct. 21 (Forenoon) at Admn’s Website- www.and.nic.in for downloading the hard copy of the Admission Certificate/Admit Card copy of which needs to be produced on the day of written examination i.e Nov. 9 by the individual candidate to take entry in the respective examination hall. Downloading of Admit Card/Admission Certificate can however be taken out from the above mentioned Website upto 0900 hrs on Nov. 9. The hall ticket can also be downloaded directly from the Recruitment portal at http://ls.and.nic.in/rec. The candidates are advised to take complete print out of the Hall ticket including the Instructions on the back side to ensure that they are familiar with and comply with the instructions and guidelines.
All eligible candidates are accordingly advised to be present in their respective Examination Centre in time on Nov. 9 with their Admission Certificate/Admit Card together with any of the Photo bearing Identity Card such as Islander’s Card, EPIC Card, Aadhar Card, Pan Card etc to appear in the written examination, the release added.
