Port Blair, Oct 16: The Election Commission of India issued schedule for Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Roll of A&N Islands Parliamentary Constituency. As per the schedule, the Draft Electoral roll shall publish on 15th October 2014 (Wednesday) and the period for filling claims and objections is up to 10th November 2014 (Monday). The final Electoral roll shall be published on 05.01.2015 (Monday) with the qualifying dates as on 01.01.2015.
The draft Electoral roll shall be published in all the Polling Stations of the A & N Islands and the forms shall be made available to the general public with the Designated Officers appointed for each Polling Station by the AEROs (Tehsildars/ACs).
Special Campaign with Booth level Agencies of Political Parties for filling claims and objections is fixed on 19th October 2014 (Sunday) and 02nd November 2014 (Sunday). The claims and objections shall be disposed by 20th November 2014 (Thursday) by AEROs.
All the political parties and general public are requested to inspect the Electoral roll till date are hereby requested to file their claims for inclusion in their respective Polling Station.
The eligible voters who have attained the age of 18 and above, and are not enrolled in the Electoral roll till date are hereby requested to file their claims for inclusion in their respective Polling Station.
