Port Blair, Oct 16: It is brought to the notice of the general public/consumers and Government Departments that power supply will remain suspended in some of the areas on 18.10.2014 from 0700 hours to 1400 hours for renovation of six pole structure at Ograbraj and cutting of two dangerous trees by APWD at Manglutan Junction, ABC cable testing at Shoal Bay and to carry out other maintenance works like that of HT/LT line by every site offices under Chouldari sub-division and Ferrargunj sub-division. The areas to be affected by power disruption are Teylerabad, Bimblitan, Sipighat, Guptapara, Manglutan, Wandoor, Dhanikhari to Ograbraj via Chouldari, Ograbraj to Dandus Point, Tusnabad to Tirur and Wimberlygunj to Shoal Bay.
Power supply will also remain disrupted in some more areas on 18.10.2014 from 0800 hours to 1300 hours for urgent maintenance on T&D System.
The areas to be affected by power suspension are part of Prothrapur, part of Garacharma, Pathergudda, New Pahargaon, and Bhatu Basti.
