Port Blair, Oct 15: A fire was reported from the ECG room of G B Pant Hospital yesterday at around 9.30 pm. According to reports due to short circuit and spark a chair caught fire in the ECG room.
However, acting smartly the staffs threw the chair out of the ECG room and controlled the fire. The matter was later reported to Fire Brigade. This is the third fire incident at G B Pant in lat three months.
