Port Blair, Oct 15: As it has been informed by the members of the Jama Masjid Committee of the problems being faced by their community, the PCC President has wrote a letter of request to the Chairperson PBMC in which he has stated that due to non availability of footpath, and staircase at Delanipur Graveyard, the person accompanying the dead bodies of their near and dear ones feel it very difficult to go to the required place to bury the body.
This has also been informed by the members of the Committee that due to lack of a boundary wall, the stray animals destroy the grave which hurt the sentiments of those who have buried the bodies of their near ones at a specific space and accordingly submitted a request to consider immediate construction of a boundary wall to safeguard the grave yard and also a footpath with staircase.
