Port Blair, Oct 10: The Swachh Bharat Mission was organized during September 25 to Oct.2, 2014 by ICAR-CIARI, Port Blair through a detailed action plan and launching of the various cleanliness activities at its premises under the overall guidance of Dr. S. Dam Roy, Director, CIARI.
On Oct.2, 2014, Swachhta Shapath was read by Dr. R.K. Gautam, Head, Crop Improvement & Protection and Director, In-charge, to all the staff members of the Institute. He also impressed upon the importance of cleanliness at all places. After the Swachhta Shapath, a cleanliness drive was also launched in the premises of CIARI, Port Blair on the same day.
