Rangat, Sept 26: The Nehru Yuva Kendra, Rangat in collaboration with Bhagat Singh Youth Club, Bakultala observed the birth anniversary of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhaya at Bakultala on 25/09/2014 in which 35 youths of the area participated for launching of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. On the occasion Shri Suddin Mondal, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Urmilapur was the chief guest and paid homage by garlanding the portrait of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhaya. Other dignitaries Shri M. Yellaiah Panchayat Samiti member and Shri Biswajit Mondal, ward member of the Panchayat were also present on the occasion. Shri Alphonce Toppo, District Youth Coordinator, NYK, Rangat welcomed and briefed about the activities of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to be organized from 25/09/2014 to 02/10/2014. The chief guest highlighted about the life & contribution of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhaya on the very occasion. Earlier in the early morning the youths launched cleanliness drive at Sukha Pahar, near electricity office, Bakultala and planted 50 saplings.
Today the youths of Bakultala is organizing cleanliness drive to clean Bazar of Bakultala in which 20 youths are participating. On the other hand youths of Urmilapur are also organizing cleanliness drive to clean Angaanwadi, Kalsi in which 10 youths of the area are participating. In the evening the youth of Urmilapur would also clean Govt. Middle School, Kalsi as discussed.
