Port Blair, Sept 25: A blue color swift car today hit a bike near Bhathubasti Bus Stop at 5:00 pm.
According to reports, the bike was heading towards the main road from the parking place at Bhathubasti while the Car was on the main road and was going towards Bhathubasti Junction.
This accident resulted in a spat and suddenly one person, who was in the car, punched the Bike rider. The bike rider’s nose was bleeding and adding to the drama, the same person, brought out a knife and started threatening the bike rider. Luckily the crowd stopped the person.
According to eye witnesses a PCR van was present near the spot and the staff inside the PCR van were reportedly watching the incident but they didn’t interfere into the matter till they received a call from Police Control Room but by that time the car escaped from the scene.
