Port Blair, Sept 25: Nehru Yuva Kendra Yuva Kendra, Rangat organized one day Theme based Awareness and Education programme on 24/09/2014 at hall of G.E.L Church, Rangat in which 47 youths for different places of Rangat area participated.
On the occasion Shri Dayanand Biswas, Pradhan of Rampur gram Panchayat was the chief guest and he inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp alongwith the officers present there.
Shri Alphonce Toppo, District Youth Coordinator, NYK, Rangat welcomed the chief guest as well as the gathering and also briefed about the programme. In his speech the chief guest appreciated the efforts of NYK, Rangat and urged the youths to take benefit from this programme.
Under the programme the topics/lecture on spirit of nationalism, PMEGP, general health problems, Self Help Group, employ abilities resources, voluntarism etc. were involved and delivered by Shri C.K. Paul, Ex- PGT, Shri Sudhir Kr. Toppo, ACT, Smti Minu Poddar, Health Educator, Miss Sabnam Majeed, Extension Officer, Shri B.Devraj, Chairman, Voice of Compassion to India (NGO), Miss Sunita, NYC respectively.
