Port Blair, Sept 05: The Andaman Nicobar Teachers’ Association organized Blood donation camp today on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. The camp was conducted at the G. B. Pant hospital in which total 21 teachers from different schools donated blood. The President of the association Shri Y. Sajeevan told that the teachers came forward for this noble cause to motivate people to donate blood to save lives. It would be a real tribute to the Great Philosopher and teacher Dr. S. Radha Krishnan if the teachers succeed to propagate such messages of prime importance in society, he said.
Appreciating the noble gesture shown by the teachers the Deputy Director(Education) Shri Dharmendra Kumar said that the decision of the teachers to donate blood is a welcome step and definitely positive message would go to the society, and would motivate the people.
