Mayabunder, Aug 22: Few seats have fallen vacant under ST reserved quota while few seats have been left by students in Mahatma Gandhi Govt. College, Mayabunder. Counseling for these seats will be held on Aug 28, 2014 at 10 am in the college auditorium. The criteria for filling of the seats, for tribal candidates who have applied and whose names are displayed in the college notice board under reserved quota, will be strictly on the basis of merit. The unreserved seats also will be filled up on the basis of merit on first come first basis. No consideration will be made for the candidates who have not applied. The merit criteria will be considered on the basis of final merit list displayed on 18th July, 2014.
Admission will be given on the same day along with fee collection and admission to eligible candidates for hostels. The selected candidates should also be prepared to resume their classes w.e.f. Aug 29, 2014, a communication said here.
