Port Blair, Aug 13: Acting on a tip of an information, a CID team comprising of HC S. Vasudev and PC Sameer Ahmed led by Inspector S.S. Rathore, SHO Central Crime Station, Port Blair, conducted a raid near Ayush Hospital, Atlanta Point, Port Blair and recovered 06 bottles of Codeine based Corex cough syrup each containing 100 ml from the moped bearing registration No. AN 01 H 9406 of one Zulfikar Khan (28 yrs) S/o Shri. Nazakat Khan, Tea stall owner R/o Round Basti which was seized after observing all codal formalities. Accused Zulfikar Khan was arrested U/s 21(a)/22(a) of NDPS Act 1985 on 12/08/14 at 1755 hrs and a case was registered against him at PS CCS. Further investigation is in progress.
