Port Blair, Aug 10: A man was run over by a truck of Port Blair Municipal Council on yesterday around 1000 hrs near Dizzy Heights Junction. Both, the driver Kailash and the bike rider Adhi was proceeding towards VIP road from Junglighat when the bike rider was trying to overtake the Truck from left side, which is wrong, he was hit by the truck. As Adhi fell down the truck ran over his legs.
The PCR was called and the injured was shifted to GB pant hospital immediately. Reports say the injured got severe injuries on his leg. Further investigations are on.
