Port Blair, Aug 4: The Hindi Sahitya Kala Parishad here celebrated the birth anniversary of the great litterateur Munshi Prem Chand at Hindi Bhavan recently. A seminar was organized to mark the occasion on ‘bazarvaad aur Prem Chand ka sahitya’. The Vice President of HSKP, Shri Shambhu Nath Tiwari presided over the seminar. Speakers viz. Dr. V.M. Tripathi, Dr. A.K. Srivastav, Shri Jagdish Narayan Rai, Dr. R.K. Tiwari spoke about the relevance of the stories and novels of Munshi Prem Chand in today’s world. The seminar concluded with the vote of thanks proposed Shri Jai Prakash Shukla.
