Port Blair, May 29: The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) organised a one day workshop for the benefit of engineers of Electricity department at Hotel Fortune Resort Bay Island on 28.05.2014. Secretary (Power), Shri Suresh Kumar Bhandari inaugurated the workshop and delivered the keynote address.
The interactive workshop which was conducted by a team consisting of Shri P.S. Radhakrishnan, Shri T.S. Sundararajan and Shri Naresh Anand General Managers covered subjects like grid management, renewable energy sources, best practices in O&M of DG sets and sub-stations. About forty engineers from the department participated in the workshop.
