Port Blair, May 28: A meeting of Tourist guides and tour escorts was held at the office of ATO at Junglighat under the chairmanship of Mr. M. Vinod, President ATO, to discuss various issues related with Tourist guides and escorts.
After discussion, it was decided to form an Association of Tourist guides and tour escorts of Port Blair in the name of “A & N Tourist guides & Escorts Association” which will work for the welfare of Tourist guides and Tour escorts of this Islands.
An adhoc committee also was formed in which Mr. M. Vinod will be the Advisor; Mr. Manmadh Rao was elected as President; Mr. Vikram Shil as Vice president; Mr. Faruque Rehman as General Secretary; Mr. Anand Prakash Tirkey as Treasurer an d Mr. Tirupathi has been elected as Joint Secretary. Besides this five executive members have also been elected.
