Billiground, May 26: National Skills Foundation of India,Gurgaon, Haryana in Collaboration with Bee National Board has undertaken the training on “Bee Keeping In Scientific Method,” a very enthusiastic and progressive programme to make aware the farmers of these group of Islands. This organization has completed such 13 training camp in different parts of the Andaman Islands. It is stated by the organization head Dr.Sabha Bahadur Singh (Scientist & Bee keeping Expert) at Nimbudera Training Camp (SM Farm) on 26th May, 2014. In Middle Andaman at Seed Multiplication Farm, Nimbudera (Agriculture Dept) such programme was started from 23/5/2014 and the training will conclude on today i.e. 26th May,2014.
The main objectives of the training is follows: How to use BIS standard Box; Use of modern Equipments; Products – Extraction of Honey, Vax ,Pollan Jelly and Bee Banam etc.; Use of medicines and Market linkages of Honey bee products.
In the inaugural ceremony of the training Dr.C.Srivastava, Assistant Director (Agriculture) Mayabunder was the Chief Guest. Besides this 35 trainee of these localities enthusiastically participate in the training, Shri Pinku Haq, Assistant Manager, Dr.Sabha Bahadur Singh delivered lectures on the Bee Keeping In Scientific Method,” and provide necessary training. The participants expressed their happiness for getting such vibrant information from the expert.
Mr. Haq stated that Little Andaman Island is very suitable island for Bee farming. He expressed that huge nos. of farmer already started their activities and near about 40 farmers achieved sufficient success, every farmer able to stand at least 20 to 30 Bee box and they are very enthusiastically working on it. Mr. Haq expressed that if in this way they could continue their work definitely they will very sharply able to earn national fame in BEE KEEPING.
