Port Blair, Apr 30: The Andaman Karate Association (Kyokushin Kai Kan), Port Blair will be organizing the 7th Andaman Kyokushin Karate Tournament 2014 on May 4, 2014 from 8 am onwards in the premises in the ALHW auditorium. The Deputy Director (Planning), Directorate of Education, Mr. Sashi Kumar will be the chief guest on the occasion while the Mr. D. Sathyamoorthy, Deputy Chief Engineer (Mechanical), Andaman & Lakshadweep Harbour Works will be the guest of honour.
The tournament will strictly follow the international Kyokushin Karate rules. Senior members of Kyokushin Karate would be judges and referees in this event and their decisions would be final in determining the results.
All interested Karateka including the fans / followers of Kyokushin Kai Kan living in these Islands may attend the Tournament by submitting medical fitness certificate, age proof document and compulsory ‘No Objection certificate’ issued by parents (applicable only for under 18 years boys / girls) to Mr. Arjun Das, Chief Instructor on May 2 between 4 and 5 pm in the premises of Ananda Marga School, Junglighat, a communication received here said.
