Port Blair, Apr 24: The Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad (South Andaman), Ms. V.K. Mariyam Bibi today conveyed her profound grief and condolences to the families of two contractual drivers who died recently while serving the Zilla Parishad (South Andaman).
Mr. Rose Kindo, Driver accidently lost his life last year in August, 2013 while Mr. Anand Kumar, Driver died on account of serous hepatic illness in March, 2014.
The widow of Mr. Rose Kindo was given a second relief installment amounting to Rs. 50,000/- while the widow Mr. Anand Kumar was given a sum of Rs.100000/- at a solemn function held in the Conference Hall of the Zilla Parishad (South Andaman) in the presence of all the staff members. The Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad (South Andaman) Smti. Rashmi Krishan, IAS was also present.
