Port Blair, Apr 15: The Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, Miss V.K. Mariyam Bibi, in a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration has requested for making arrangements for distributing the compensation to the victims of cyclone ‘Lehar’ at the earliest. In her letter, she mentioned that the compensation assured by the Administration has not been disbursed to the victims so far in many villages of South Andaman, a communication said.
