Kadamtala, Apr 10: The Ward No. 105 in McCarthy Valley, Near Uttara Jetty, Kadamtala, an encroachment pocket, where total 142 voters are listed, only (76 male & 66 female) only two voters have exercised their franchise today. Other than this 5 EDC votes were casted.
As per reports, people of McCarthy Valley boycotted the election due to non fulfillment of their demands, which were promised during the last elections.
Similar reports are also coming from Chingam village of Great Nicobar.
