Port Blair, Mar 09: The Director of Agriculture, A&N Islands, in compliance with the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act, 2013 has constituted an ‘Internal Complaints Committee on Sexual Harassment’ for the offices of the Agriculture Department at Port Blair and South Andaman areas.
Smt. Padmini Bhaskaran Murthy, Statistical Officer of the Agriculture Department will be the Presiding Officer of the Committee while Shri TK Dhali, Asst. Director (Agri. Engg.) MI, Smt. TS Prem Latha, Head Clerk, Smt. Saraswathy Sutradhar, Agriculture Assistant, Shri Thomas Barla, Regular Mazdoor and Smt. Jharna Singh (Mahila Seva Sangh) will be the members of the Committee, a communication received here said.
