Port Blair, Feb 14: The PCC President Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chairperson, PBMC for reqularization of services of daily rated mazdoors/ sanitary mazdoors who have already rendered more than 10 years continuous services against the vacant posts. In his letter he has stated that a large number of vacancies of work charged Mazdoors/ sanitary mazdoors have arisen in the Council due to promotion, retirement, death etc of the employees of PBMC and requested to regularize the services of DRMs of PBMC on the basis of seniority against the respective vacant posts by giving relaxation to age and educational qualification. Kuldeep has also appreciated the efforts of regularizing of services of 236 DRMs and 26 DR Drivers during the current tenure of the Council.
