Port Blair, Feb 07: Andaman Film Society organized a documentary film making workshop at Silvassa, the capital of Dadra Nagar Haveli.
The four days workshop was attended by students of colleges and schools of Daman and Silvassa. The resource persons were Director and Screenplay writer Mr.Ranjan Das and Independent film maker Mr. Viplav Shinde.
The valedictory function of this workshop was held at Silvassa where the Administrator Mr. B. S. Bhalla gave away the certificates to the participants.
A small documentary on the tourism potential of the Doodhli lake was screened which was shot by the students as a part of the workshop.
The Secretary, Andaman Film Society Ms. Samhita Veda Acharya informed that the UT Administration of Daman and Diu and Dadra Nagar Haveli had extended tremendous support for the successful completion of the workshop.
