Port Blair, Jan 28: On the demand of the General Public of various areas, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament has decided to undertake the following works under the MPLAD scheme for the development of the area and laid the foundation stone in a simple function organized by the general public of the area on 25/01/2014. The works are construction of 03 Nos. Class roome at RGT Public School, Port Blair; Construction of Community Hall at Attam Pahar, Garacharma Gram Panchayat, Construction of Community Hall at Manglutan, Guptapara Gram Panchayat and Construction of Rural Road at Bathu Basti, Namunaghar, Gram Panchayat.
The Member of Parliamentary in a simple function has also inaugurated the boundary wall and footpath constructed in the Muslim Graveyard under the MPLAD scheme on25th January, 2014. An amount of Rs. 33,52,900/- has been spent out of the MPLAD scheme fund.
