Port Blair, Jan 21: The Member of Parliament, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, made request for grant of financial assistance from the Lt. Governor’s Relief Fund in respect of many individuals for the Medical Treatment at mainland hospital vide his letter dated 29.11.2013, 16.12.2013 and 31.12.2013 respectively.
In pursuant to that Lt. Governor’s Secretariat (Raj Niwas) has sectioned relief of Rs. 1,00,000/- in favour of baby of Mrs. Prabhashini Biswas, Swarajgram village, Diglipur; Rs. Rs. 50,000/- in favour of Shri Subash Bani, Uttara village, Rangat and Rs. 1,00,000/- in favour of Mrs. Sushma Ojha, Madhupur village, Diglipur, from LG’s Relief Fund facilitating the treatment. The Member of Parliament has expressed his gratitude to the Hon’ble Lt. Governor for the same.
