Port Blair, Dec 12: Mr. Anand Prakash, Chief Secretary, Andaman and Nicobar Administration today inaugurated a SSI at Kamraj Nagar, Calicut as chief Guest. The Industry is a venture of Mr. R, Murugesan, Managing Director, Aryan Aqua (India) Pvt. Ltd. Mrs. Rashmi Krishnan, Secretary (INDUSTRY) , Andaman and Nicobar Administration was the guest of honor on the occasion. Mr. N. Murali, Joint Secretary-Cum- Director of Industries also presided over the function. The chief guest and the other dignitaries present in the function inaugurated the SSI unit by pressing buttons which started the machines.
The Managing Director of Diet Aqua Chennai also attended the function meanwhile the Managing Director of Aryan Aqua (India) Pvt. Ltd. Informed that the SSI unit has a capacity to produce 12000 Liters of safe, pure ISI and ISO 9001:2008 certified packed drinking water in an hour. BHe further informed that the unit will sell the water under the banner of Diet Aqua in 20 Lt., 5 Lt., 1Lt and 1.5 Lt. variants. MD, Aryan Aqua (India ) Pvt. Ltd. also informed that the industry will help in eradicating the short fall of packaged drinking water in the Islands.
