Port Blair, Dec 08: The IMD has issued weather warning for fisherman for Andaman & Nicobar coasts valid for next 24 hrs commencing from noon of 08-12-2013. Under the influence of Severe Cyclonic Storm “MADI” over Southwest Bay of Bengal, Strong East to Southeasterly wind speed exceeding 45 kmph and generally rough sea likely along and off Andaman & Nicobar coast, fisherman are advised to be cautious while venturing into the sea.
Meanwhile, Distant warning signal No. II kept hoisted at Port Blair Port.
