Port Blair, Oct 31: Over 2 Kg of Ganja has been seized and one person arrested on 30th October by Aberdeen police.
On receipt of an information, a police team led by SHO Insp. D.J. Rao under supervision of DySP Gurmeet Singh intercepted a person near Corbyn’s Cove Junction in an Omni van and recovered 2.010 kg Ganja concealed in a blue colour bag having from his possession. He was identified as Sagar Chakraborthy (26), r/o Chouldhari, Lall Pahar, and arrested on the spot. A case u/s 20 (b) (ii) (B) NDPS Act 1985 has been registered at PS Aberdeen and investigation is on.
