Port Blair, Oct 20: Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, the Member of Parliament, A&N Islands has raised the issue of shortage of staff in Revenue Department with the Lt. Governor. He has demanded filling up the vacancies in various category of the post of the revenue department and also to enhance the circle offices with sufficient number of revenue staffs to maintain the revenue records in full proof manner and also to meet the demands of general public on various issues relating to land properties without any harassment. This will not only generate the employment opportunity but also benefits the villagers for settlement of revenue matter pending since long time.
