Diglipur, Sept 13: A checking Inspector of State Transport Service, Mr. M M Lal, aged nearly 55 years, has been found dead inside Diglipur’s STS rest room this morning.
Late MM Lal, was a heart patient and has been taking medications of heart ailment, it is learnt. Late Lal had duty early this morning and hence he decided to sleep in the Rest Room last night, when he was seen, alright, by the watchman of Transport Department. According to report he died because of heart attack at night, which the watchman, who was on duty on the front room, could not notice.
Due to cancellation of the Pawan Hans Helicopter the District Administration made all arrangements to send the body in a vehicle to Port Blair to the relatives today. Late Lall MM Lal, S/o Harbhajan Lal, was originally a resident of Aberdeen Bazaar, near Laxmi Motors, Port Blair and was posted at Diglipur.
