Port Blair, Sept 04: It is brought to the notice of the general consumers and government departments that M/s Powergrid Corporatoin India Limited will carryout the commissioning activities in the already laid 33 KV double circuit underground cables at Garacharma area on 07.09.13. Due to this the power supply will be suspended at few areas of Port Blair and South Andaman from 0830 to 1400 hours on 07.09.13, if required.
In addition, power supply will remain suspended in some more areas on 06.09.2013 (Friday) from 0730 hours to 1400 hours to carry out urgent maintenance work on transformer erected near LIC office and distribution system.
The areas to be affected by power suspension are Light House Junction area, Gandhi Bhawan, Cooperative Bank area, Gandhi Market and part of Phongi Kyaung.
