Port Blair, Aug 14: PCC President Kuldeep Rai Sharma today met AK Chugh, the Director, Social Welfare Board along with a delegation of widow and elderly persons and briefed the problems of the widowed, physically handicapped and elderly personnel due to non receipt of their pension amount by the first week of every month and has requested to ensure disbursement of pension amount by the first week of every week like the salaries are being paid to the Government employees. The Director has given a patient hearing and assured to look into the matter.
