Port Blair, August 08: A mass rally was organized today by Andhra Association, Port Blair in support of United Andhra Pradesh agitation of mainland on Telangana issue.
The rally today passed through permitted routes of the Port Blair Municipal area, about 5000 Telugu people participated in the rally.
The Slogans in the rally were “Samaikya Andhra Vardhillali, United Andhra Pradesh Jindabad”. The rally was very peaceful. Andhra Association extended gratitude to the all Telugu People who participated from different areas and also the organizers of the rally.
The association also extended gratitude to the Police Department, Media, Traffic Police for the smooth conduct of the rally.
