Sri Vijaya Puram, November 4: The Directorate of Shipping Services has told passengers and the general public that, due to administrative reasons, the sailing of the vessel MV Sentinel scheduled for Little Andaman on November 8 (Sunday) at 0800 hrs from Sri Vijaya Puram, and her return voyage on the same day at 2000 hrs from Little Andaman, have been cancelled. Passengers holding tickets for the above sailing are advised to cancel their tickets and get a full refund.
However, in order to facilitate passengers travelling to and from Little Andaman, the Directorate has arranged a sailing of MV North Passage to Little Andaman on November 8 (Sunday), departing from Phoenix Bay Jetty at 0630 hrs. The vessel is scheduled to sail back to Sri Vijaya Puram from Little Andaman on the same day at 1300 hrs.
Tickets for MV North Passage will be available for booking to the general public from November 6 (Friday) at 0900 hrs onwards. Tickets can be booked through the DSS e-Ticketing Portal: https://dss.andamannicobar.gov.in/eticketing. Alternatively, tickets may also be purchased from STARS Ticketing Counters, a press note from the Deputy Director (SS), A&N Administration, said.
