Sri Vijaya Puram, October 15: Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi (PBGKR), in collaboration with Health 4U Multi Speciality Clinic, organised a Specialist Health Camp at the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Tushnabad, to provide specialised medical consultations to residents of the Tushnabad area.
The camp featured the services of three specialist doctors — Dr. Sornalatha, Gynaecologist; Dr. Megha Kakani, Dermatologist; and Dr. Gayatri, ENT Specialist — who provided consultations and medical guidance to local residents. The initiative received a positive response, with over 50 patients benefiting from the camp.
The initiative aimed to improve access to specialist healthcare services for local residents, particularly those who may face difficulties travelling to access consultations in different medical specialities.
Mr. Mandeep Grewal, Founder and President of Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi, expressed his sincere gratitude to the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), the Medical Officer of PHC Tushnabad, and the Pradhan of Tushnabad for their support and cooperation in facilitating the camp.
He extended special appreciation to the entire team of Health 4U Multi Speciality Clinic and the specialist doctors for sparing their valuable time and extending their services for the benefit of the local community. He emphasised that such collaborative initiatives play an important role in bringing quality healthcare closer to people and strengthening community health services across the islands.
Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi remains committed to community welfare and continues to undertake initiatives aimed at improving access to healthcare for people across the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Upcoming Specialist Health Camp: As part of its continued efforts to make specialist healthcare more accessible, the next camp is scheduled to be held on 22 October 2026 at PHC Bambooflat.
PBGKR looks forward to continuing its collaboration with healthcare professionals and government health facilities to serve communities across the islands.
