Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 14: The Directorate of Disaster Management in collaboration with the Directorate of Education conducted a two-day Training of Teachers Programme on School Safety and Disaster Preparedness on Oct. 13 and 14 in the Training Hall of Aapda Prabandhan Bhawan. The programme marked the fifth batch of the training initiative and was attended by 33 teachers representing various Government and private schools.
During the inaugural session, yesterday, Shri Janik Ram, Assistant Director (Admn.), Directorate of Disaster Management underscored the significance of strengthening disaster preparedness and ensuring safety in educational institutions.
