Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct 12: Following the MP’s visit to Hut Bay and his continued efforts to highlight and regularly monitor the water scarcity issues affecting Ward Nos. 11, 12 and 13 of R.K. Pur, including raising the matter in the DISHA Meeting, the Administration has now sanctioned Rs. 4.81 crore for the construction of an overhead water tank with a capacity of 1 lakh litres and the laying of pipelines in the affected areas.
This initiative aims to provide a long-term solution to the persistent drinking water crisis faced by the residents of these wards in R.K. Pur. The MP expresses his gratitude to the Administration and the APWD authorities for their positive response and for taking concrete steps to address this long-pending public grievance.
