Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct 06: The Valedictory Function of Hindi Fortnight–2026, jointly organised by All India Radio and Doordarshan, Sri Vijaya Puram, will be held on October 7, 2026 (Wednesday), at 11:00 a.m. in the Conference Hall of All India Radio, Sri Vijaya Puram.
On the occasion, Mr. Satnam Singh, Secretary, Personnel, Revenue, Administrative Reforms and Training, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, will be the Chief Guest. Mr. Rajeshwar Lal, Assistant Secretary (General Administration), Andaman & Nicobar Administration, will be the Guest of Honour. The programme will also be attended by the retired Programme Director of All India Radio, Sri Vijaya Puram, as a special guest. The Deputy Director, Engineering, Doordarshan, and Cluster Head/Head of Office will preside over the programme.
During the valedictory ceremony, the winners of various competitions organised as part of the Hindi Fortnight will be presented prizes and certificates by the Chief Guest.
All concerned are requested to give wide publicity to the above programme/news and extend their cooperation in the promotion, propagation and progressive development of Official Language Hindi.
