Port Blair, July 03: It has been terrible 60 days for Akshita Majumder, who has been suffering a lot since her birth. The new born baby doesn’t even know why she is suffering pain and why she is crying but her health is deteriorating day by day, leaving her parents worried.
Condition is so bad that the Doctors of G B Pant Hospital has now referred Akshita to Mainland India for specialized treatment with a caution that delay may be problematic for the little angel.
But for parents of the little girl, taking the new born baby to Mainland India for specialized heart treatment seems like an impossible task as they belong to very poor family. Sadly they don’t have a BPL card and hence they can’t get treatment benefit under BPL category.
Akshita’s father P Mazumder runs a small pan shop for his leaving and has no idea where to go for help. As he has already missed Tuesday’s Public hearing at Raj Niwas and the Present Lt. Governor of is leaving these Islands soon, his last hope has also shattered.
Hope before leaving these Islands, the present Lt. Governor, Lt. Gen (Retd.) will sanction some financial assistance for the little girl and save her life. Hope the magic will work again for the little angel.
