Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept 27: A Mass Health Check-up Camp was organized at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium, Rangat, by BJP Rangat in coordination with CHC Rangat, with the objective of providing basic health screening and medical consultation to the local community.
The camp was led by Mr. R. Madhavan, Zilla Parishad Member, Nimbutala. Mr. Pradeep Kumar Singh, BDO Rangat, attended the programme as the Chief Guest. The medical camp was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Kumar Gaurav, CMO, CHC Rangat, with the participation of doctors and paramedical staff from CHC Rangat.
Various health services were provided, including blood tests, TB screening through X-ray, ABHA Card assistance, Allopathic General Medicine consultation, and Homeopathic and Ayurvedic medical services.
The camp benefited school students, Anganwadi workers, sanitation workers, police personnel, APWD workers and the general public.
The programme was also attended by Mr. M. Bhoominathan, District President, BJP Rangat; Mr. D. Thangaswamy, District General Secretary, BJP Rangat; Mrs. S. Luxmi, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Rangat; and Mr. Sanjeev Saha, Mandal President, BJP Rangat, along with other party workers and community members.
The initiative provided an important platform for people from different sections of society to access basic health screening, medical advice and healthcare services under one roof.
