Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept 27: Lieutenant Governor Dr. Dinesh Sharma reviewed and approved 14 development works related to various Panchayati Raj Institutions of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. These works include the development of basic facilities such as roads, drains, check dams, irrigation ponds, community halls, bus stands, and public toilets.
The Lieutenant Governor directed that complete transparency be ensured in the implementation of the works and that the quality of the works be ensured through time-bound inspections.
