Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept 17: The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Kolkata, has issued a weather warning for the Andaman and Nicobar Islands for the next seven days, along with fishermen, farmer and port warnings.
Weather Warning: Friday, September 18: Heavy rainfall of 7–11 cm is very likely to occur at one or two places over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds of 40–50 kmph and lightning are also very likely to occur at one or two places. Saturday, September 19: Thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds of 40–50 kmph and lightning are very likely to occur at one or two places over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Sunday, September 20: Thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds of 40–50 kmph and lightning are very likely to occur at one or two places over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Monday, September 21: Thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds of 40–50 kmph and lightning are very likely to occur at one or two places over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Tuesday, September 22: Thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds of 40–50 kmph and lightning are very likely to occur at one or two places over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
