Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 13: Dr. Dinesh Sharma will be sworn in as the 14th Lt. Governor of Andaman & Nicobar Islands on Sept. 15. The swearing-in-ceremony of the Lt. Governor (Designate) will be held on Sept. 15 at 11.30 am at Lok Niwas, Sri Vijaya Puram. The Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court, Hon’ble Justice Ravindra Vithalrao Ghuge will administer the Oath of Office and Oath of Secrecy to the Lt. Governor (Designate). The Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Mr. Gyanesh Bharti will read out the Warrant of Appointment.
The Lt. Governor (Designate) arrived here from New Delhi, along with Dr. (Smti.) Jai Lakshmi Sharma (Spouse) today. He was received by the Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray at the Veer Savarkar Airport alongwith the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration and other Senior Officers of A&N Administration.
