Port Blair, June 28: The A&N State Cooperative Bank Ltd. has been adjudged as the best performing cooperative banks in the country by the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI), New Delhi.
The prestigious award was received by Mr. Bhagat Singh, Chairman, ANCB Ltd from the hands of Mr. Shivraj Patil, Governor of Punjab in a grand function of the 16th Indian Congress organized by NCUI, New Delhi on 25 – 26 June, 2013.
Mr. Bhagat Singh, Chirman on his return in a simple function held in Bank appreciated the employees of the bank for their efforts towards growth and development. He encouraged the employees to work hard and assured full support to them for meeting the Banks mission “service to the rural people”, a communication from Managing Director said.
