Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept 03: An Awareness Generation Programme on “Language Lab for Children with Special Needs” under Inclusive Education was organised by the Block Project Office, Diglipur, under Samagra Shiksha, on 03rd September 2026 at CRC GMSSS Sitanagar.
The programme was organised for Pre-Primary Teachers, Parents/Family Members, SMC/SMDC Members, Anganwadi Workers, Caregivers/Helpers and other stakeholders to create awareness about the effective utilization of the Language Lab for the holistic development of Children with Special Needs.
The programme commenced at 09:30 A.M. with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by an inaugural address. Resource persons conducted informative sessions on the importance and applications of the Language Lab, highlighting its role in enhancing language, mathematics, recreational, leadership and digital literacy skills, as well as supporting the mental health and overall development of CwSN.
The programme enabled participants to gain awareness regarding the effective use of the Language Lab and its potential to support the educational and developmental needs of Children with Special Needs.
