Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept 03: The NSS Unit–4 of Jawaharlal Nehru RajkeeyaMahavidyalaya, Sri Vijaya Puram, organised a special awareness programme on “Beyond Addiction, Into the Light of Your Inner Light” on September 3, 2026, at the College Lecture Gallery.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Tamil Bharathan T.K., NSS Programme Officer, Unit–4. Dr. K. V. Ramana Murthy, President, Anti-Drug Committee, JNRM, presided over the programme.
The resource person, Sis. Sharmistha, In-charge, Brahma Kumaris, Sri Vijaya Puram, conducted an informative and interactive session on addiction, positive thinking and self-awareness. She highlighted the importance of meditation, inner peace and developing positive habits to overcome negative influences and lead a healthy life. Various activities were also conducted to educate and motivate the students on the importance of meditation and a healthy lifestyle.
At the conclusion of the programme, Dr. Pearl Devdas, Principal, JNRM, appreciated the resource person for the valuable, insightful and inspiring session and encouraged the students to incorporate positive habits and self-awareness into their daily lives.
