Campbell Bay, Aug 30: Campbell Bay Police carried out a major operation against the alleged supply of illegal drugs on Sunday evening at around 6:30 PM, resulting in the arrest of a young man at Zero Point.
During the operation at Zero Point, approximately 1.2 grams of methamphetamine were reportedly recovered from the possession of the accused.
The case is currently under investigation, and further details regarding the identity of the accused, the source of the substance, and possible links to a larger supply network are yet to be officially confirmed by the police.
Residents of Campbell Bay believe that this arrest is a significant development, and it is hoped that further investigation and interrogation may help the police trace the wider supply chain and identify other individuals allegedly involved in the network.
