Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 21: The much-awaited Face of Andaman – Season 2, presented by GNM News (Great Nicobar Mirror News), is set to provide a digital platform for aspiring models, performers and talented individuals from across the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The Season 2 auditions will be held on August 23, 2026, at Hotel Star Paradise, Marine Hill, with registration beginning at 9:00 AM. Interested participants can collect the application form and register at the venue. Participants are required to carry one recent photograph and their Aadhaar Card.
The competition will feature six categories — Mr. Andaman (16–40 years), Miss Andaman (16–35 years), Miss LGBTQ (18 years and above), Mrs. Andaman (18–50 years), Little Prince (4–10 years) and Little Princess (4–10 years). A minimum height of 5 feet is required for the Mr. Andaman and Miss Andaman categories.
All contestants appearing for the auditions must follow a white dress code, with participants allowed to wear a suitable white shirt, top, kurti or other appropriate white attire.
A key feature of Face of Andaman is its online voting concept, which allows the public to actively participate in the competition and support their favourite contestants. According to the organisers, the initiative aims to make the competition more transparent and participatory by giving contestants an opportunity to build direct public support through the digital voting process.
Application forms are available at Nescafé, Bhatubasti; Gen NXT Saloon, Aberdeen Clock Tower; and Master Cut Saloon, Prothrapore. Forms can also be collected and submitted at Hotel Star Paradise on the day of the auditions.
Face of Andaman Season 2 is being organized as a digital event by GNM News – Great Nicobar Mirror News, with the journey of the contestants being presented through the GNM News YouTube channel. The event aims to discover and promote talent from the Islands by providing participants with a platform to showcase their confidence, personality, talent and style.
