Sri Vijaya Puram, July 24: The Department of Art & Culture, A&N Administration, in collaboration with INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage) A&NI Chapter, will be organizing Heritage Walks in and around Sri Vijaya Puram on a regular basis. The Heritage Walk – ‘Kalapani Trail’ is scheduled to be conducted on July 30, 2026, which will begin at 5.30 am and end at 7 am. The walks will cover important spots connected with the history of these Islands.
The Heritage Walk is open to all — tourists, students, freelance tourist guides, empanelled guides, representatives of tour operators, and any individual interested in exploring the Islands’ heritage. Through this walk, participants will gain first-hand insights into the history, architecture, and stories of different sites in Sri Vijaya Puram while the local guides and tourism students will get a platform to learn and carry forward these cultural experiences.
